Our first breakfast in Korea!

Taking Arex monorail to Seoul Station!

Arrival at Seoul Station; to transfer to another subway to reach Myeongdong
21 October 2011;
WE ARRIVED AT KOREA!
Everything was perfect; from getting our luggages, to breakfast (Bonjuk's crabstick porridge; super jjang!), to getting our Busan tickets, and to getting to Seoul Station from Incheon Airport. What was troubling us was the trip from Seoul Station to Myeongdong and to our staying area!
Firstly, in order to reach the subway at Seoul Station, we need to bypass a massive crowd and a lot of flights of escalators. We're holding onto our overloaded luggages thus squeezing through people was kind of challenging.
Once we finally reached Myeongdong, we need to CLIMB up various flights of stairs, carrying our luggages; totally drained our energy to the highest level! We're like, "no wonder Koreans are so skinny, they climb the stairs every day!". We're living too much in comfort in SG, where escalators are practically everywhere, not eliminating the fact that SG's so small.

Namsam 2 Guest House, where we'll be living in for the next 8 days!
We finally reached after walking for god knows how long. To our dismay, the person in charge told us that our room will only be ready at 2pm; and when we reached there it was around 9-10am? We were kind of upset, as it will affect our itinerary and timing. Thus, we decided to walk around the streets of Myeongdong to kill time.

BEAUTIFUL MYEONGDONG STREETS

SPAO!!!!!

EVERYSING! Located at the 4th level of SPAO

Massive Forever21!

Spot BIGBANG!

I love my grilled chicken sanwich with no cheese, no mayonnaise, no vegetables and no tomatoes! It was one of the best, seriously.

Burgers from Kraze Burgers
We were so hyped up once we started walking around, that we kind of forgot how tired we were from the long hours of traveling! Practically everywhere you walk, you will definitely spot a cosmetic shop! THAT AMAZING I KNOW.
The shopping vibe overtook us, and we shopped like crazy until our time's almost up. We decided to stop by Kraze Burgers for lunch. Super love what I ordered; and amazingly the waiter managed to get my troublesome order right, despite our communication barrier! :)

After lunch, we went back to Namsam Guest House to check in.
Our room's very simple yet cosy! 4 mattress, one long table, one television and one bathroom. Lovin' the room to the bits, as well as the location! After settling down our luggages and our usual facebooking, tweeting and whatsapping, we set off to our first destination!

The good samaritan that drew us a map to guide us to JYP building, as we lost our way @@

Our T-money (in SG what we call ezlinks). So damn adorable right!

JYP Entertainment! After hunting it for close to an hour!

Dunkin' Donuts that is located right opposite JYP Entertainment. Saw many fangirls camping around there.

Our delights! :))))

Cube Entertainment!

Leaving our footprints! (Really hope we'll all have a chance to go back again and find this)

SM Entertainment! The one that we took the longest time to find.

Apgujeong!
Our destinations after alighting at Cheongdam station; Gangnam-gu:
1. JYP Entertainment building & Dunkin' Donuts
2. Cube Entertainment building
3. SM Entertainment building
Apparently, besides JYP building, the other two buildings evidently 'covered up' their identities well as their exterior shows no/minimal signs of their entertainment identity.
Also, we lost our way while we're trying to find JYP building, and approached countless people for directional help. We're lucky to bump into three China students who're currently schooling in korea at SM building to guide us to our next destination. After much procrastination, we decided to cab down to Apgujeong.
Apgujeong Fashion street was initially one of our itineraries, but we had to skip it was pretty late, and had one more destination to clear for the day.

Machine to topup T-money!

Our last destination after alighting at Dongjak Station; Gureum/Cloud Cafe!
The motive to go there is to view the Moonlight Rainbow Fountain Show at Banpo Bridge, which is only available until 31st October!
We're pretty far away from the fountain show, and we decided not to go anymore closer as it may take up a lot of time. Even from afar, the rainbow fountain's super magnificent!
After enjoying the cool night breeze, we headed back to Myeongdong street for a short shopping session, before ending the night.

Buys from Day one!
