Birthday celebration with my favourite girls@ Bugis Liang Seah Street for Arirang Korean BBQ! My first time there, and I really like it! Kinda ate non-stop as it was buffet, plus food there's really good!

Dinner session ended too late, thus we skipped shopping and headed to Baodie's place to collect my present :) Super thankful to the Duo + Gayclan for fulfilling my wishlist ♥ Love maximum!

Birthday celebration with my Jalan Sultaners@ Robertson Quay (can't really remember the restaurant's name; its located beside Bar Bar Black Sheep).

In a very cosy little restaurant snuggled in a quiet corner, I enjoyed the moment with my Sultaners, chatting our night away before we start the ball rolling@ Zouk. So, they're the ones who accompanied me on the dot of my birthday. Really, really thankful to have such wonderful colleagues :)

ITS MY 22ND BIRTHDAY! ♥

It was a blast having my day spent at Universal Studio! Its super sweet of Boyfee to be with me throughout as all the while he's against the idea of even stepping into USS; but only gave in because it was my special day ;)

In conclusion;
1. Conquered all exciting rides
2. Walked like crazy; and ensuring that we've not missed a spot
3. Food and drinks there were freaking expensive and we went there totally unprepared, thus splurging A LOT on them
4. The place's super fantasy-like; it felt as though we're in a different dimension of the universe
5. Weather was scorching hot; and waiting time for all the events were pretty long, but worth the wait!
6. We I had fun; and really hope my other half did as well ;)

Thanks baby for being there. you always!

Cineleisure KBox with my Sultaners! Marks the last few days before Val love flies off to New Zealand, thus we decided to spend those few days crazily!

KBox with them never fails to make me feel as though I've shed like 10 pounds, with all the high-ing; dancing, shaking, jumping, shouting, WOO-ing like there's no tomorrow. Seriously it was such a crazy night!

Dinner@ Bar Bar Black Sheep; Robertson Quay with my Sultaners!

Finally, finally, finally having the chance to dine there after several failed attempts! Food and atmosphere was really great that I literally ate like a bull; phat much :(
What comes after dinner was some dessert and beer! Its like really 不醉不歸! We ended up taking pictures along the bridge, and that marks the last day of Val's service in OCBC.

To Valerie baobei; she will definitely not be seeing this.. but anyway! Super thankful to have her as my 師傅 since the first day I stepped into my branch. I remembered scanning through for youngsters and she was the first one I spotted. She was sooo bubbly, friendly, approachable, patient and just wayyyy nice. She guided me along, defended and consoled me during my difficult times, which made work so much more at ease and enjoyable.
Damn, I really really miss you and hope you're enjoying where you're at now, and never forget us! And please come back ASAP :( ♥

My family had dinner@ Paradise Dynasty; Orchard Ion. Its like one of my favourite dining place; with good food, environment and reasonable price! Really worth the one hour wait. Forced them to accompany me to Forever21 right after dinner, and managed to kio one dress majoy yay!

Dining location was searched by the few of us - Chris, Dwennie, Jiujiu and me! We're on a hunting spree on one of the saturdays for the perfect dining place that serves good Halal food. Its all our first time there, and they serves Arabic and western food.

Was solely attached to the ambience there; super cosy and its of a total new experience! Food was damn good as well! Was pretty awed by the fact that there's things there that I even dare to consume as I'm a superrrr picky eater.

Still having some budget left, we decided to venture all the available desserts served there! Extremely full-package dinner ;)

Headed to town; and sat around LJS to update on everything that we've missed. Man, there's like endless topic with this girl with a 驚爆 life. HAHA.

First partying trip with the Sultaners! Also my first visit to NANA! It was an eye-opener; with all the Thai performers and famous-for foodbites! Major yum.

Ate, drank, danced and hopped around, along with the music. This is life seriously.

Sad thing is, Jiujiu lost her phone. She left it inside the cubicle@ Liang Court's toilet. Its only within minutes that her phone's gone. Lodged a police report at Tanglin Police Station; and really hope the bitch who got her phone will suffer from karma :(

Saw a massive queue at Two Days One Night, believe its due to their high ratings; but after hearing from Ju-anna that its pretty disappointing, we chose to eat here instead!

Food was super good, especially the bacon and Soya chicken! My goodness the bacon's sooooo good that I ate like super many? This is really one of the sinful-est place ever but like a shiokz only really.

Reminiscence.

Man, its random but I was reading through my post since 2005. I'm so so glad blogger's still alive and kicking. Really love having all these memories stored somewhere.

Was reading some entries back in 2006. Somehow, the painful feeling of the failure of my O's still feels so strong even until now. Its beyond scary.. the feeling's beyond description.

Still, I must say that secondary school days were the best. I had so much fun; had so many crazy thoughts and actions that I believe only then I'll be able to do/think that way.

I must say that.. I've really grown up :)

I do see a MCM outlet when I was at Busan; but I missed out Bean Pole! Its exactly at Busan :( God seriously. Worse still, Lapalette is available Myeong-dong, exactly where I was residing at during my Korea stay. God super heartpain!

Checked out MCM and the pretty backpack cost around SGD500. But I'll really get the Lapalette one if I knew its at Myeong-dong as it only cost around SGD180! So, so pretty. Somehow, I like Bean Pole's one a lot especially when I always have a thing for Navy and Brown combination.

Must really think of a way to get the Lapalette one, since the one that really caught my eye was that. I remember telling Shimin yobo this: "Eh, why so many people carrying the horse bag? I really like it a lot!". God, is this fate or what?

HAPPY 22ND HANZAI!

The few of us (Baodie, Heartie, Huixuan and Ivan) met up to grab food and present@ Hougang Mall for Hanzai's surprise birthday party at his place. We then drove back to do some last minute decorations and preparations before HZ comes back.

The rest slowly arrived at his place and we stood by the door to surprise him! When he arrived at his doorstep, he was totally stunned by all of our presence! Super relieved that the surprise was a success, as he didn't suspect anything beforehand.

3 DAYS 2 NIGHTS TRIP TO KUALA LUMPUR; BUKIT BINTANG! ♥

Day I was spent in KL loitering and exploring the various shopping malls. Was kind of disappointed at first as there were nothing much to get there but the food there really helped to make things better; especially A&W!

Day II; we headed to Genting via subway and express bus right after our buffet breakfast (dopest ever especially the nasi lemak!; I'm always a fan of BBs). Explored the casino for the first time, shopped and feasted around befroe heading back to KL. Had zi char for dinner which is like super nice! We shopped at Sungai Wang Plaza after dinner, which imo, was the best shopping mall out of the few there :)

Day III; last day in KL; W and I were left alone by my parents to do our last minute shopping, like shiokz or what? Gathered with our parents 2ish hours later and off we go to SG homeland.

Kind of forgotten which stop to alight at, that we ended ourselves at Promenade instead of Nicoll Highway. Walked for close to an hour before reaching Goldenmile god seriously like as though we're having a walking marathon.

First time hanging out at this Thai club@ Goldenmile; was praying that I'll not bump into any regular customers since my workplace's pretty near that area. Anyway that night was such a blast!

Okay, the siblings had just made a pact together to go for a diet plan!

Eh, breakfast will be as per normal. Lunch will be soup-based products only. Dinner will only be up till 7pm. Basically we're sticking to normal 3meals/day skipping all the snackings which includes tibits, chocolates, bubbletea (god I'll die but yea), starbucks (okay this is ultimate die) and etc.

Super healthy I know, except that I don't exercise! Sigh. I need to get a solid wood/bamboo-base hulahoop that I remember Lecia dearest had one@ home!

Hope this works. I wanna lose back those 4kgs that I gained :( Can't stand looking at myself into the mirror anymore..

(1) Dinner@ Irvin's Seafood Cze Char; River Valley Road. Right behind Orchard road; pretty hard to find but its just along the roads! Food portion's pretty small for a big group like ours, but food was pretty good!

(2) Had after dinner dessert@ Swirl Art! The 3 ladies us got pretty much excited over the "free and easy" selection of flavours and toppings, that our serving was too much for us to handle, especially Heartie's! (hers was the heaviest of all! HAHA)

Their Sweet & Spicy Bean Glass Noodles is the best imo; so good that we ordered extra servings!

Hot Pot 麻辣 Fish really live up to their name; really ultimately spicy! Think I practically gave up eating. The rest of the Sultaners besides DW can actually finish the fish. Damn seriously impressive!

I need to slim down! Something I notice about my stupid body.. guess I used to use the very hard way to lose weight (i.e. by skipping dinner and swimming; and fyi I only lose like 3-4kgs even though I really restrict myself like crazy), it decreases my metabolism to rock-bottom. Now, once I start eating dinner, my weight will increase even up to 2kgs even though its just a simple full-meal dinner. Damn damn damn.

Now, if I really need to slim down, I must not take dinner. So tough though gosh :(
Ugh please give me my ideal weight please! I suddenly feel slightly lucky that I'm like 1.65/1.66 if not I'll really die.

Aiyo damn life's tough. I wanna be slimmmmmmmmmm! In fact how I wish I can be not only slim but skinny! Chiong wear sleeveless I tell you :(

Now that life has reached a turning point, its time to really be sensible.

Guessed I've lead a pretty much comfortable life for the past 21 years, its time to adapt to changes. Think I've made it sound very serious, but heck no. Its all about staying positive..

Its time to really settle down and think of my future; my degree, my job.. god money really makes the world go round, especially in Singapore where everything is all about the money, certificates. God superficial ttm. Why can't I be in a more simplicitic country?

This seems like the only platform where I can vent my frustrations.
Why why why can life be so tiring :(

All I want is a short break; a short getaway to relieve myself from all the stress physically and mentally@ work. I'm sure everyone'll have this feeling as well; its so normal and yet they just can't seem to empatise with me and my situation.

I know they are worried about me; and always keeps me in safety but god I'll never ever grow up if I'm so over-protected even at this age!

Long trips are so hard to plan with my current job; as it is really super unreasonable to take like a whole stretch of leaves. Aiya hard to explain but yea. But ugh those countries that they allow me to go without them around are places that requires me to be away for like at least a week or so? UGH I'LL ALWAYS BE TRAPPED IN SG FREAKING STRESSED UP PLACE UGH.

So tired of all these uncertainties. Can I have a confirmed reply? Its so hard to keep changing this and that. They will only care about themselves not being affected.. humans are that selfish. Life is that selfish.

I don't know why I'm feeling this way; so vexed, so frustrated, so drained, so tired. So so tired of life. Ask me to study? Are you sure this is a better alternative? I'm not only not ready; I've so many unfulfilled things that I've yet to achieve. There's so many places I want to go. I'll never wanna drown myself in those freaking books and notes until I fulfill them all :(

Regardless of how much you love what you're doing, there will definitely be moments where you will need a break or something.

This is exactly what I'm feeling right now.

Everyone's been saying the same things over and over again. But can't you all see that this is my choice?

"Its for your own good" doesn't work on me anymore. If its really for my own good, is pressurizing me for my own good as well?

Life can be so tiring at times. Why are we constantly striving to live up to the expectations of others? Why can't we be just the way we are? Why are we shaped to be this way by our living environment, and not the other way round?

Why why why tell me why. I'm so tired of those words man seriously; so tired of them.

Why isn't there anyone around supporting me? I really need a lot of those right now. Can I even buy them?

Okay this is random bloglog no. one; pretty bored here so yup. HAHA okay that's really random.

Anyway! Been gaining weight like nobody's business. I'm seriously less motivated to slim down as compared to last year. Where have all my motivations gone to?! But I feel so eh 'bulky'? 'Bloated'? Okay lah in other words, fat.

Have thoughts in backtracking to my previous method; swimming. But damn I feel so.. awkward wearing something I'm seldom (in fact; hardly) seen in. So :(

Jogging? Okay also awkward.. hard to explain though. Its just me man really. Plus I'm a pretty weak runner? I remember jogging last year, but it didn't last as I almost died running, thus I resorted to swimming which was one of my favourites.

Yoga? I'll really love to try! But guess the cost matters; plus I'll need a partner? But I think this is the best option out of all. So yup!

Gym? Eh okay random; but I'll really, really love to have a trackmill@ home! :D If only my parents approve.. (I'll definitely just buy one man!)

Or rather those DDR machines seen@ arcades! I used to play that like 4days/week! Definitely can slim down; keep jumping every day! God if only I have that physical, solid machine@ home HAHAHA like dreaming.

In overall, I guess what matters most is my daily food intake(s). I'm someone who eats quite a lot on a daily basis; especially junk food. If only I can just bear with it and eliminate fastfoods from my life.. but I'm a total sucker for them man. UGH (u)

Still! I must must must must diet! Before I'm unable to fit into my uniform; and I'm not exaggerating. My work uniform's scary man really. That's what I use to gauge if I've gained weight or not. Sad life right; why can't I be naturally thin?! :(

We headed to Vivocity to shop around, and caught 'The Ghost Must Be Crazy'. Super funny show; practically laughed like mad!

Right after the movie, we travelled down to cityhall and settled our dinner@ Taiwan Cafe. The food there's seriously fail; I think I only had 2-3 bites of my noodles? :( Should've gone for Hongkong cafe instead!

Anyway, we sat the Singapore Flyer; I've always wanted to go for it! It was a marvelous experience, even though it'll be better if its more thrilling? Super fantastic day; I love you baby ;)

So thankful, really very thankful. However, I suffered from "withdrawal syndromes" which lasted for days @.@

We surprised our dearest birthday girl by appearing right in front of her doorstep with KFC; totally differ from what all of us have agreed on; which is to have Jap food together. Cute thing is that she just woke up and after she knew that Vincent was in cahoots with us, she beat him like super hard? HAHA classic moment!

Anyway! We had super fantastic Thai dinner, cooked by Ivy's sister-in-law who's a Thai! The green curry was total dope that I chiong-ed that dish like crazy. Cake-cutting session right after dinner, which left her with 3 cakes in total!

Met up with the usuals! Me, Heartie and Derricky reached super late; all thanks to me actually.
Dinner's supposed to be Potluck, but as we're late, dinner's already pretty much settled.
After the guys had a few rounds of poker, we headed down to the basketball court for some outdoor activities, before rushing down to a big field located at some part of Sengkang to catch a clear view of fireworks@ 12mn sharp.

We then headed back and had 比手画脚 competition; in which the loser group will have to complete a punishment. Guess we were super loud that day, but luckily the neighbours did not complain on us. Hohoho festive mood ftw!

Around 4am, most of the group left; leaving 8 people behind thus we MJ-ed all the way till morning. (Y)

Erm there's this saying when you feel like changing a wallet, it's important to see if you're financially well-kept personally. If yes, it is advisable not to change the wallet as it helps to "capture" your money inside it. If you feel that your money hasn't been well-kept (you'll definitely have a feeling, trust me), then its time to change one! - Extracted from a Straits Times article months back.

I really believe in this article! That's why I've been searching for a new wallet. I've never felt so weirdly broke for quite some time already so yah, time for a change! This time, I must find my ideal wallet which 1. will allow me to not need to fold my notes into halves (HAHA @joanne love) and 2. branded hopefully? (so that I'll cherish it more hahahaha)

OCBC September batch I gathering!

Part I

We planned a birthday surprise for Doreen! We bought a cake for her; and secretly called her out to the pantry :) Super heartwarming to see her so happy by what we've done, not to mention that the cake's seriously dope.

Part II

The girls had Shiseido makeup training session whereas the guys headed back to their respective branches.

Makeup session was fun, but was a bit overwhelmed by the end product on our faces: Eyeshadow with over-exaggerated eyebrows, blusher and lipstick and worse still, no eyeliner! Felt so nude without my essential eyeliner. Okay, super not me really.

Still, really appreciated this free session; with a lot of freebies! *beams*

Part III

Dinner@ 313 with the few; then afterwards chill session at Harrys@ Esplanade. Ended the day after so much laughters and erm alcohol ;)

Headed down to the destination with my branchmates; along with North and Citysquare branch(es). We reached pretty early, which the event only started more than 30minutes later. Location's super grand; food was pretty good. The best thing(s)? The companion of course; plus Junming's super classic and kuso performance! (Y)

Kpop night@ Expo concert hall with brotherkoh!

The day we've been waiting so badly for had finally arrived! Overall, the concert was pretty good, except for the fact that we're pretty far from the stage as compared to the ones with the standing pit tickets, yet the amount we paid were the same :(

Still, am super extremely glad to be able to catch a glimpse of Bigbang and SNSD; and to experience how magnificent everything was. And once again, biggest credit to Yingqian for getting the tickets for me! Lastly, TOP ftw! (L)

So, today's the last day of 2010!
Should be kinda glad as this year's been a rocky one for me... :(

Any new year resolutions?

1. Have my tragus pierced again (this is erm lame but something I wanna achieve; takes a lot of courage okay esp when I'm so afraid of pain)

2. Overseas trip at least once! (having some plans in progress; hope things will go on smoothly!)

3. Reach my ideal weight, and maintain it! (dang my resolution since forever)

4. Save up to 10k SGD! (unrealistic I know; since I'm such a spendthrift and doubt my salary can even support this thoughts/plan :( sigh!)

5. Stay onto my job for at least a year!

6. Study? (eh not really my resolution actually, as its something that I HAVE to do rather than I WANT to do)

7. Stay happy 24/7!

HAPPY 21ST BIRTHDAY TO ME!

This is belated celebration by the way; location was already fully booked on my actual day >:(

Held my celebration at Chevrons; Jurong East (Pinnacles@ Zes). It was super inaccessible and far for me (plus many many others as most of the percentage of the invited guests live in the east area); so really thankful for each and every one who were present that day *blows kisses*

Must really thank the guests who self-entertained themselves as I'm really a very, very bad host by nature. Kinda guilty about it even until now..

Anyway! The day was a success; no serious hiccups except for the fact that the complimentary cake that was supposed to come together with the package I've booked, appeared to be way too small to cater to 30plus guests. Super thankful to Derrick bun and Polarbear for driving out just to buy a cake for me. T_T *touched*

Okay see now that proves how sotong, muddlehead, indecisive and lazy(@planning) I can be; seriously.. :(
